[TNX KL7JR] LA - LA1LGN is the special callsign used for operation from the Coastal Radio Station LGN - Bergen Radio to celebrate its 90 years of service for ships at sea. Details on this activity can be found at http://www.la1b.no On 23 and 24 November LGN - Bergen Radio itself will be be calling amateur radio stations on 3631 kHz USB and listen for calls (CW or USB) between 3650 and 3700 kHz. Look for LGN at 14-16 UTC and 18-20 UTC on 23 November, and at 10-12 UTC and 16-18 UTC on the 24th. Their next plans are not known, but, according to La Gazette du DX, they are likely to return to France earlier than expected due to the high cost of the boat they used to reach Navarino. He will be back to Myanmar in January 2003, when he will concentrate on the low and WARC bands. Hiroo is currently in Cambodia and has got a new callsign (XU7ADX); he and 7N4QHA/XU7ACG will be active (with an empahisis on 6 metres for Europe) from Sihanoukville until 20 November.
